The museum of Folklore is one of the featured thematic museums in Hội An. The museum displays original artifacts, photos and performance activities that represent the value of intangible cultural heritage. The museum of Folklore introduces the local traditional culture, the creations and contributions of local generations to develop Hội An city.

The museum has opened since the 24th March 2005. The building is a typical architectural style of Hội An ancient wooden house with two-floor, 57m long and 09m wide, facing Nguyễn Thái Học street and Bạch Đằng street.
